For us to continue to run our valuable services we require funding to not only provide the salaries of our staff, but also to provide things such as:
Talks/Presentations to local schools, Health Practitioners and Other Agencies;
Publications such as leaflets and care packs to clients;
Help towards the cost of utilities, phone calls and broadband;
Training to Teachers, Youth and Community Workers and staff of Other Agencies;
Drop-In sessions in local communities;
Workshops for Carers.
There are many different ways you can help to raise money for EDN such as:
Coffee mornings within schools or other community of interest groups;
Bag Packing;
Mufti days either within the workplace or schools.
How your money would be spent
The list below gives examples of how we would use donations.
£20 pays for a 1-1 session with a client and/or carer.
£15 would teach a 30 12+ year old children about Eating Disorders within schools.
£10 will pay for a group session for an individuals
£5 will pay for 100 leaflets for eg. within primary school children as preventative tool.
£100 will help towards our help line and/or interactive website
It costs a minimum of £10,000 to provide an individual recovery programme for each client over a year.
